@danielgildea can you explain why you closed this PR? The current \citeposs command does not work correctly. It will always add a "'s" to the citation. This PR addresses this issue and ensures the correct form of the genitive case.
Hi. I don't really have a strong opinion about this, but what I was taught in grade school was that the possessive of "Adams" is "Adams's". The Chicago Manual of Style and the APA publication manual also prefer "Adams's". The stackexchange post seems to be giving the code for "Adams' " as an alternative that you can use if you want but that they don't necessarily endorse.
Oh strange. I always learned that if the word ends in an s, only the apostrophe should be added. Seems no one really agrees. Seems like Chicago also doesn't agree with itself. 🤷🏽

Adds a command for possessive citations. Examples:
\citeauthor{Adams_2019}' \citeyear{Adams_2019} -> \citepos{Adams_2019}: Adams' (2019) \citeauthor{Adams_et_al_2019}'s \citeyear{Adams_et_al_2019} -> \citepos{Adams_et_al_2019}: Adams et al.'s (2019) \citeauthor{Ma_2019}' \citeyear{Ma_2019} -> \citepos{Ma_2019}: Ma's (2019)
Just to fix a little annoyance of mine.
