Set data pointer value #2

The raw data slices were not being set in sample records.

Hello and thank you for the patch. I've applied it to the CL for x/sys/unix. That CL and this package have diverged slightly. Are you using this package from here? Would you like me to apply this patch to this repo as well, or can you use the now rebased x/sys/unix package instead?

I'm going to merge. The CL is moving very slowly. Thanks again.
