Please upgrade to the latest code and try again first. Maybe it's already fixed. acme.sh --upgrade
If it's still not working, please provide the log with --debug 2
, otherwise, nobody can help you.
I had the same problem using a version of acme.sh installed in November 2023, certs were renewed in Feb 2024 but Cpanel did not "see" that they were renewed. I had to log in to cpanel and use the --deploy command myself.
Domain: trushargavit.com
Hosting Provider: Namecheap [Shared Hosting]
Webserver: Litespeed
I have installed the lets-encrypt SSL to my domain and sub-domain using the acme.sh script. acme.sh has added a cronjob for the auto-renewal of certs.
35 * * * * "/home/trusrsle/.acme.sh"/acme.sh --cron --home "/home/trusrsle/.acme.sh" > /dev/null
Also Upgraded the acme.sh to latest version using
acme.sh --upgrade
I installed the cert on 1st March 2023 and will expire on 30th May. I was getting mail from cpanel that the certs will expire soon. I ran the command:
acme.sh --list
which lists the details of the currently installed cert as shown in the screenshot. The cert for my domain was renewed on 30 April which is exactly 60 days after 1st cert was issued. That means that the cronjob is regularly checking at a specific time and renewing the certs.
The problem is why these renewed certs are not updated in SSL/TLS section after 60 days. I have contact the Namecheap support team but they did have any solution eighther letsencrypt community. https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/the-cert-did-not-auto-renew-by-acme-sh-cronjob/199109/32
Kindly help with the issue why these cert are not updated in cpanel?
Thanks
