Retroactive attendance UI is out of sync

Retroactive attendance doesn't clear UI state correctly after submitting an edit.

After you submit an attendance with the user's email,

• Event field is cleared internally but still visible on UI
• User field is cleared on ui when we delete the email but not internally on client
• Nothing is cleared on submission
