While Discord & Slack work well with our integrations, for instant chat (say with developing apps), something like Spectrum or Gitter would also work well. All can be embedded in the network and are also available as native apps.

Just a thought.

What we have (chat-wise):

[x] Slack
[ ] Spectrum
[ ] Gitter

Right now facebook messenger works well on the site. Once we get integrations working w/ slack & discord, we'll be good.
