Adding this to a Drupal 10.x project with BLT 13.x results in:

  Problem 1
    - drupal/core-dev[9.0.0-beta3, ..., 9.5.x-dev] require symfony/error-handler ^4.4 -> found symfony/error-handler[v4.4.0-BETA1, ..., 4.4.x-dev] but the package is fixed to v6.0.3 (lock file version) by a partial update and that version does not match. Make sure you list it as an argument for the update command.
    - drupal/core-dev[9.0.0-alpha1, ..., 9.0.0-beta2] require symfony/filesystem ^4.4 -> found symfony/filesystem[v4.4.0-BETA1, ..., 4.4.x-dev] but the package is fixed to v6.0.7 (lock file version) by a partial update and that version does not match. Make sure you list it as an argument for the update command.
    - acquia/blt-drupal-test v1.0.0 requires drupal/core-dev ^9.0 -> satisfiable by drupal/core-dev[9.0.0-alpha1, ..., 9.5.x-dev].
    - Root composer.json requires acquia/blt-drupal-test ^1.0 -> satisfiable by acquia/blt-drupal-test[v1.0.0].
    - ```

    - symfony/console[v4.4.0-BETA1, ..., v4.4.8] require php ^7.1.3 -> your php version (8.1; overridden via config.platform, actual: 8.1.13) does not satisfy that requirement.
    - Root composer.json requires acquia/blt-drupal-test ^1.0 -> satisfiable by acquia/blt-drupal-test[v1.0.0].
    - acquia/blt 13.x-dev is an alias of acquia/blt dev-main and thus requires it to be installed too.
    - Root composer.json requires acquia/blt ^13.4 -> satisfiable by acquia/blt[13.4.0, ..., 13.x-dev (alias of dev-main)].
    - Conclusion: don't install drupal/core-recommended 10.0.0-alpha2 (conflict analysis result)
    - acquia/blt dev-main requires symfony/console ^4.4.6 || ^6 -> satisfiable by symfony/console[v4.4.6, ..., 4.4.x-dev, v6.0.0-BETA1, ..., 6.3.x-dev].
    - You can only install one version of a package, so only one of these can be installed: symfony/console[v2.3.10, ..., 2.8.x-dev, v3.0.0-BETA1, ..., 3.4.x-dev, v4.0.0-BETA1, ..., 4.4.x-dev, v5.0.0-BETA1, ..., 5.4.x-dev, v6.0.0-BETA1, ..., 6.3.x-dev].
    - symfony/yaml[v5.4.0-RC1, ..., 5.4.x-dev] conflict with symfony/console <5.3.
    - drupal/core-recommended 10.0.0-alpha1 requires symfony/console v5.4.2 -> satisfiable by symfony/console[v5.4.2].
    - drupal/core-recommended 10.0.0-alpha1 requires symfony/yaml v5.4.2 -> satisfiable by symfony/yaml[v5.4.2].
    - Root composer.json requires drupal/core-recommended ^10.0 -> satisfiable by drupal/core-recommended[10.0.0-alpha1, ..., 10.1.x-dev].
