When a camera drops a large number of frames, the runtime slows down significantly #20

I've observed this behavior in the simulated radial sine camera and also on the Orca Fusion. If the camera drops frames, the runtime never seems to recover. I usually either see a timeout or have to terminate an acquisition manually.
