This PR includes the v1.4.0 sources and updates from the develop/stable branch.

Major updates include:

API for cursor mode to track an object in front of device using X,Y coordinates
New interfaces for controlling coordinate systems in device
Overhaul of register configuration to slim down memory footprint
Implementation of CI solution using arduino_ci tools
Implementation of doxygen for HTML and LaTeX documentation
Refinements to demo sketches, including a new cursor mode sketch
