You could also update the description to "Closes #3" so that my issue is automatically closed when the PR is completed.

Any news on this? I'd love to use this feature without having to maintain updates myself.

I think the comment in the review is valid, but I'd be ok with leaving it behind if it's blocking the merge. I can always customize my own bot with it if needs be.
