New MacOS update ruined macchanger completely #21

As of MacOS Sonoma version 14.4.1 it literally destroyed macchanger completely. I can't change any of the mac addresses anymore. This is the error i get:

INFO: Type of interface is Wi-Fi. Will disassociate from any network. WARNING: The airport command line tool is deprecated and will be removed in a future release. For diagnosing Wi-Fi related issues, use the Wireless Diagnostics app or wdutil command line tool. ERROR: This device / interface has no MAC address to set.

Apparently other people have this same issue here:

I've had the same issue, the 'replacement' tools offer no similar functionality to macchanger and the built in network tools won't allow Mac address changes. Really frustrating.

Turns out the issue is caused by the 'airport' command no longer auto disconnecting from the connected network when run. Simply disconnect from the network then run macchanger again and it works fine.
