NET 7.0.0 installation fails #500

Description: Attempting to setup .NET 7.0.0 fails. The build remains online at https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/7.0

NET 4.8.1 installation fails, too.

Hello @riverar, Setup-dotnet doesn't support installing .NET Framework SDKs. As there is no exact version 7.0.0 of .NET available, the action failed. As a workaround I can suggest to change value to use rollForward key to latestFeature, or target some exact version of .NET SDK. Feel free to reach us out incase of any further issues. Thank you!

@HarithaVattikuti Thanks, I completely missed that .NET 7 SDK is versioned 7.0.100!
