setup-python CI workflows have been broken for more than 2 months #891

Description: setup-python CI workflows have been broken for more than 2 months. This does not help to report / triage new bug reports. Many issues should have been detected by setup-python own workflows but those are broken.

Expected behavior: All CI workflows are green.

Actual behavior: They've been failing for 2 months.
