Improved error message experience #148

As we've seen in #141 and #133 the error message experience could be improved to try and help the user understand how to take action on the error. In both of those cases the issue was that an external cab file was missing. This should be explained to the user while also making it easier to report errors with error detail without having to resort to a screenshot.
