Open Kernel Tab when Launching Companion #460

Since the token needs to be entered after, it would be nice if the launch companion button opened the kernel tab in the left sidebar

Related #408 May still be useful to open the kernel panel just to show to the user that the kernel is connecting (worth thinking about later)
