Same experience here with script.lightpack-1.0.6.zip (as well as 1.0.4 and
1.0.5):
Ubuntu 12.04
XBMC 2:13.0~git20131102.1725-alpha9-0precise

various xbmc forums mentioned issues with their addon infrastructure (dated Dec
2013, however). i was able to install the addon manually by extracting the zip
into $XBMC_HOME/addons and restarting XBMC.
