Will not work with ANY games #91

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Prismatik software 5.10.5 and the Firmware 6.2 HEX from this site.  Windows 7 
(64-bit)

Please provide any additional information below.
Received my Lightpack this week and installation was a breeze.  Everything 
works as expected during normal Windows operation and video playback from the 
Internet, iTunes, etc.  But I get no response from the Lightpack once I boot up 
any of my games from Steam!  I cannot find anything online about the problem 
and have seen video of others using it just fine.  Can I get a little help for 
a noob?  =)

Well I don't know that we have to resort to name calling...but I do agree it is 
EXTREMELY frustrating!  I bought this expensive piece of technology 
specifically to use with my PC games library...because THEIR Kickstarter video 
showed them using it with games.  I've tried it now with 23 different games, 
including FarCry3 which was featured on their video and none of them work.  I 
sent a support request email to them asking for an update and I was told it 
works with direct games but not OpenGL...this is also false.  Honestly, I feel 
completely ripped off.

Did you try to use prismatik version 5.9.6 ?

Just tried installing and running Prismatik version 5.9.6

Got no response from the Lightpack at all.  Instead of the usual 'Sun' logo on 
my taskbar, it was a red circle with an x.  As though it couldn't recognize the 
Lightpack.  Reinstalled 5.10.6....back to same performance as before.

i have read somewhere that for 5.9.6 some certain firmware is needed, but don`t 
remember its version. For me it is not understood why older version of 
prismatik (5.9.6) have more functionality than new one (5.10.6): more 
parameters in laboratory window, hotkeys, plugins. So maybe in older version 
capturing from games was working in some laboratory mode (i saw many posts 
about successful gaming with lightpack) but in new one such functions are 
disabled to achieve more reliability of this software.

i wish you were wrong guys, but you are right and we are not able to manage to 
solve all of the problems. We keep working on that. A have nothing to add.
