Publishing text-only discussions/threads in a feed #39

It is still mandatory to publish an image to start a new discussion in a feed. Would it be possible to start a new discussion in a feed without an accompanying image? This menu option could perhaps be called Start New Thread / Publish New Thread / Publish New Topic / ????
