Center object in coordinate system on landing page

As you don't see the coordinate system it's really weird to change the perspective if the model has an offset from the center.

I wonder whether we can find a proper heuristics to place models:

• models with exact lego dimensions should be lego-aligned
• symmetric objects (e.g. ballista) should be centered
• ???
