Schools often work with LEGO Mindstorms and therefore would like to be able to attach 3D printed parts to LEGO Technic.

Cool feature, but probably much too much work for the rest of the BP time...

Of course not, but maybe the community or a future BP might want to do that. It would certainly add quite some value to the product.
