Rainbow Taskbar no longer working. Whether I try to click on a preset or create a new taskbar color/effect, nothing happens. Eventually popped up with this (trying to figure out how to insert a photo on here.) Using on Windows 11 Pro.

Any recent windows update? I am currently not home for a few days so I can t really test it. Does the error still occur after restarting explorer.exe?

Looks like it is an issue on the newest Windows update. I'll update myself and will get working on a fix soon.

Just updated to the latest Insider build, and I can't seem to replicate the issue.

Well, maybe it's just windows that is the issue then. I've been having problems with the sign-in in the settings, as well as the diagnostic data settings. 🥲

Finally got 23H3, however I still can't replicate your issue. Might be a temporary windows issue, as you said. Please follow with any more updates or ideas on this issue, because honestly I have no idea what is going on

It just does this a lot currently. Sometimes it will randomly start working, but will randomly go back to this after a short while. I've quit the app and rebooted, deleted and re-installed, checked for all updates possible... I just can't seem to get it working how it was before it started happening.😢

Hi, i've added a bit of debug logic to the RainbowTaskbar DLL in this build (along with all the other updates). It should write a debug file on your desktop, please send that to me. If it is a concern, I can also provide the source code for this build. In case anything goes wrong, also make sure to keep a backup of your RainbowTaskbar config file (%appdata%\rnbconf.xml). RainbowTaskbar.zip

Please restart explorer or your computer before running this build.

The only thing it shows me in any files for this, is the app itself. I'm not computer savvy whatsoever, so probably the worst person to even have issues, let alone bring it up.🙃 I think I'm just gonna end up doing a factory reset on my laptop. I dont know what else to do with all the issues im having with everything in general.
