Soundflower doesn't work on Mountain Lion when audio is sent through the 2ch-module

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open up Garageband and select that Soundflower is the output in the audio 
and midi tab.
2. Record something with a microphone.
3. Try to listen to what you heard.
4. Remember to run the Linein app from rugenmedia. It's a freeware product 
which can be used to test your sound from e.g. a microphone or what you have.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is not comming through my system regardless of which device 
I choose.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Soundflower 1.6.5 on Mac OS X 10.8

Please provide any additional information below.

I have the same problem, except it does not work through 64 channels, either.
