Error -85 getting when trying to connect CC3000 to any webserver #131

It Got connected to router but fails by getting Domain IP Address of the server. Getting Error -85. Please let me know what can be the issue? What is the defination of the function gethostbyname(hostname, strlen(hostname), ip); and What is Does? please clarify my doubts.
