Support for flashing images with the bootloader over a Serial connection was recently added. This means you can flash images without a JLink once the bootloader is flashed, but this needs to be tested and feedback provided.
Initial tests gave me a flash region overflow on the nRF51 so this might need some small optimization, etc.
