Behavior

Need some help with my Adafruit Darksaber code.. the code seems to turn the saber on, it starts lighing up the LEDs but finishes in the middle of the saber and goes to a pulse when the audio file finishes.. How do i go about speeding up the lightup annimation going up the LEDs so and stopping the weird pulsing, i just want it to be a solid colour

The adafruit dark saber project recommendation is 60 neopixel strip but i have a 140 strip so the leds don’t run up the whole strip in time. Is there a way of altering the code so the lights go up the saber faster

Here is a video of my projects for reference https://we.tl/t-mDl7mpMtsH

Hi, this is really a support issue. Could you ask the question in https://forums.adafruit.com/viewforum.php?f=60 ? Include a closeup showing your wiring, and describe how you are powering the strip.

applecuckoo commented 3 months ago

Maybe you should try amending NUM_PIXELS = 34 to NUM_PIXELS = 140? Could just be that the existing code doesn't take that into account.

Addressed in discord.
