After update to the new WebExtensions version, it will force Firefox to open the add-on options page at every lauch.

meoso commented 7 years ago

Same for me; Firefox opens MDH preferences at each launch

[edit] this was true for Firefox-ESR 52.3 but not true for Firefox-Release 55.

Same thing here (running Firefox ESR 52.3.0).

Edit: I reverted to the XUL version (2.13.2) of MDH and the problem went away. The conclusion must be: if you are using Firefox ESR (I have to, for various reasons), do not upgrade to the WebExtensions version!

After continuously experiencing this issue on Firefox-ESR v52.3.0 (32-bit) when using the WebExtensions version of the add-on, I gave up in frustration and went on to install the XUL version.

Kindly fix this issue so Firefox-ESR users can move to the WebExtensions.
