Mac Binary Doesn't Work #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download the DMG version for Mac OSX
2. Execute the application

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The application window should display, but nothing is shown.  There appears to 
be no application process, indicating that perhaps it is crashing on startup.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Mac OSX 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion)
Python 2.7.3

Please provide any additional information below.

Windows version does appear to work correctly.
