Money Oversite #436

I think this is was a bit of an oversite as it destroys the economy of the pack. You need to use a compass on the bottom fluid laser. Lasers have an unlimited transfer speed. Try for yourself and you will see what I am talking about. 2020-04-08_22 39 31

If you are on the latest version of the pack (1.3.51) which was a hotfix patch, the value for water was decreased drastically rendering it inefficient.

In relation to this, it will likely be removed in the near future anyway. Many servers disabled its use during the timeframe before the hotfix, But I'm still not a huge fan of the style of play it promotes for money farming.

I mean I am on the latest update and it doesn't matter what value the water is set to it will always instant fill. I really don't know of a solution for this other than removing the quest. I was looking through the quest and was like... will this work? Yep lol It totally did. The lasers transfer rate is unlimited so it will always fill as the ticks will let it.

Ahh, that makes sense. The new player shop system is very experimental and not everything will stay. It's definitely still a WIP, all the numbers and repeatable quests are arbitrary for the moment while I get all the data. I'm sure there are plenty of loopholes but I'm hoping to get them ironed out. I remember how bad that quest was when I first added it, 50 coins per quest... I had a user post a video on my discord called "how to be a millionaire in Minecraft eternal within hours!" that definitely prompted me to make a nerf hotfix quick lol. I can confirm I will likely remove the quest along with lava. (Edit, just tested it, this is definitely broken and being removed)

@ChosenArchitect Funny thing, that's the exact same setup I built as I saw the quest :) You beat me to the punch reporting it.

Just to add onto this slightly further, someone can add multiple task screens and sinks, to basically get it back to what it used to be. This can be frustrating for server owners since it will allow those people to just grab creative jetpacks in the beginning:
