1.3.5.3 update failed? #482

I just updated from 1.3.51 to 1.3.5.3 via the Twitch launcher. When I launch, minecraft opens fine. As soon as I hit the play button 'Minecraft game output' pops up and thats it. Nothing loads, nothing happens.

I tried repeating the update process and still no luck.

Edit: tried keeping saves etc, deleting pack entirely and then reinstalling pack. Tried this with 1.3.5.3 and 1.3.5.2.

Have you tried moving you saves and backups someplace else then deleting the modpack and doing a fresh install?

Tried it. Same result.

Ok then maybe it's something up with the Twitch launcher to test this try installing the pack on either GDLauncher or MultiMC.

The Twitch launcher didnt update inbetween versions of the pack so nothing on Twitches end has changed.

You can also try joining the MC Eternal discord and asking in the issues and questions channel as someone in there might know a bit more about it than me.

I know you are trying to help but I really dont want to join another discord server when im already here posting my issue. Although looking at the 400 open and unreplied issues here I am doubting posting here was even worth it.

I'm having this problem too. I updated the pack and now it just crashes on startup. Minecraft won't even open. Downgraded twice and it's still acting up.

Edit: so deleting and reinstalling the pack worked for me. Not sure if it was my world file or not from 1.3.5.b

Thanks for the additional info and confirming it wasnt just me. I will try again to totally delete and reinstall the pack. Guess ill have to start again if its the world file that's the issue.
