6 years ago This could happen for a few different possible reasons:
- Your ISP is blocking or intercepting traffic to the content providers for certain puzzles
- Your ISP is blocking or intercepting DNS queries for the domain names of those sites
- Your router is blocking or intercepting traffic to those sites
- Your router is blocking or intercepting DNS queries for those sites
- Your IP address has been blocked by certain content providers
Without more information, it's hard to say exactly why. I recommend downloading the puzzles over a cellular data connection if you continue to have trouble with your home Wi-Fi.
I get download error notification for los Angeles times, wall street journal, and a few other puzzles when at home. I do get Newsweek ok. They all download fine elsewhere. What about my home WiFi could be causing this and how could I remedy?
