@adamfairhead Great icons! I have few suggestions:

1. I'd love to see an npm icon that would match other icons in your collection. npm uses this apple touch icon on the website:

   But maybe cutting the "n" from the logo:

   

   and making the icon background in the color of the logo outline would be more consistent with the current color scheme.

2. Empty icons with different colors Might be useful e.g. to display font awesome or other glyph icons on top.
3. A GitHub icon that doesn't disappear on white background. ;) Currently GitHub icon seems very different in style than others: Maybe a white font awesome GitHub icon on some color could be used as a second GitHub icon variant?
4. Icons for software, tools, programming languages and other technology and not only for online services would be very useful to have in one consistent style - as for me I'd love to have consistent icons for Node.js, io.js, MongoDB, CouchDB, RethinkDB, PostgreSQL, Debian, Ubuntu, Docker, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap. React.js, Ember.js, Sails.js, hapi.js, and many, many others - but I realize that might be too much work. On the other hand it is very hard to find logos of such technologies that would look good when placed together so maybe that wouldn't be such a bad idea after all. Thanks and best regards.

StartNext (a european competitor to Kickstarter) would be awesome. I tried creating one myself, but did not manage to come up with one I was happy with, especially because the official logo does not deal well with being shrunk, not even after removing the text and enlarging the plant iconography...
