Oh no, that doesn't sound good. Let me know if you end up tackling this, otherwise I can take a look in a few days. 👍
I just tried changing COLTRANE_CONTENT_DIRECTORY
in the example app .env file (https://github.com/adamghill/coltrane/blob/main/example_standalone/.env#L10) and I renamed the content
directory to help_content
and the site loads for me.
If you can provide a PR or a sample app that replicates this issue, let me know. Thanks!
It's been a while, so I'm going to close it. Feel free to re-open if you have a test case I can replicate with.
Sure. Sorry, haven't had the margin to explore it more, I've just left Coltrane's stuff in the content directory for now. One of these days I may peg it down. Thanks for this--using it for some user facing documentation in an internal app!

Hi there! 👋️
I set COLTRANE_CONTENT_DIRECTORY to a different value (in my case,
help_content
) and doing this doesn't change anything. Changing the environment variable to a non-existent directory does nothing, it still reads fromcontent
, and renaming thecontent
directory, no matter what the environment variable is set to, makes things crash.Wanted to make sure and file this bug. If I find time later, I might take a crack at fixing it myself. 🔧️
