Only a couple feeds support geo-coding. For feeds that do not, a human editor, or an API like OpenCalais needs to be used.

We could not evaluate the accuracy of the OpenCalais geocoding because the current integration was not reliable during the hackathon weekend (perhaps due to issues on their side).

as far as i can tell OpenCalais was iffy. I think a mec-turk or even change to local blog formats would be sweet.
