Writing a message and pressing Enter or Send sometimes causes the message to disappear #20

This started a few days ago.

Although auto refresh is enabled, every 10-20 minutes when I try writing a message and press enter the text box clears and the message disappears and does not get sent to GPT.

A page refresh is required and a re-write or a re-paste of the message.

As you can imagine it's pretty frustrating when a very long complex query just disappears!

I now have to remember to copy my message before I send it every time in case this happens.

Do you have any idea what could be happening and if ChatGPT Auto Refresh can help?

Or perhaps Auto Refresh could automatically save any inputs to the text box in a buffer accessible via the top left, or automatically copy to clipboard just before send?

@adamlui hi Adam, thank you for the update! Sorry I didn't provide further information earlier.

I was in China at the time of writing and using a VPN to access ChatGPT. In late August I also started getting hit with a lot of captchas so I blamed my connection for the general issues.

Back in London for a month now & I am using GPT and auto refresh without issues.

Next time I'm in CH let's see if the issue is resolved for sure! 😄
