I am pretty familiar with Squoosh, and would love to see it being used in Wordpress. Feel free to ask for my help if anything comes up :)

Hey @atjn thank you for your offer of help! Once https://github.com/GoogleChromeLabs/squoosh/issues/1084 is in the npm package we should be able to proceed here.
