Can only ever draw on 1 page after drumming fingers on screen #814

The first time i saw this was yesterday, Christi got her iPad into a situation where she couldn't draw on any pages except 1. All the other pages could be navigated to, panned, pinched, etc, but couldn't be drawn on.

today i found some steps to consistently reproduce:

  1. new page
  2. drum fingers quickly on the screen (as if you're impatient) making lots of dots on the page
  3. stop tapping -> new page -> try to draw on that new page

this is in part related to the fixed from #809

verified in build 0.8.6 iPad 2 iOS 7.1.1 iPad Mini iOS 8.0
