Correcting a chosen translation #13

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.A 1-word-source-phrase 'his' hast 4 translations. In the adaptation
process I have chosen a wrong one.
2. In order to get the right one in this context, I tried several options:
- clicking on the word, opening the KB (with Ctrl+K), selecting the one, I
want to have, OK, but no change.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
that the selected (new) translation in the KB is accepted, when choosing OK.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
AI 4.1.1

Please provide any additional information below.
A work-around is:
- clicking on the word in the text, deleting the translation, then clicking
on the preceeding word, and now all the 4 translations are provided and I
can choose the one I want to have,
It would be more logic that a translation choice can be made from the KB
(using select and OK).

By Chance, I hit the key Ctrl+L (instead of Ctrl+K) and this allows to change a
translation to a given phrase.
So I suggest to close this issue.

I think that you have found the correct solution to this problem in one of the
next
items. Use the Show the Choose Translation Dialog button in the Tools bar to
make
the correction.

Note that changes to the KB do not always show up immediately. You may have to
close
the document or project and reopen to see that the changes have been applied.
