Menu item View/Show Translation #14

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In issue 13 I described how it tried to change a translation using the
KB, and it did not work
2. By chance I found out, that Ctrl+L opens the Choose Translation dialog
box, allowing just this thing to do
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Checking in the menu (especially under View) I expected to find a menu item
(with Ctl+L next to it) which allows to activate the Choose Translation
tool by the menu, but it is not there.

Finally I discovered on the toolbar the: 'Show the choose
translation'-tool, which opens the hoose translation dialog box.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

-> Add this item to the menu, I suggest to View would be helpful
- for those not (yet) familiar with the toolbar items and
- would help those who like to work with hotkeys (in a program, where you
have a type quite a bit and using a laptop for this) hotkeys are always
helpful.

Please provide any additional information below.

From the beginning, Adapt It has avoided duplicating tool bar commands on its
menus.
We feel that such duplication adds too much complexity and clutters the
interface too
much for basic users. The Choose Translation dialog can be more simply invoked
by
tool bar button or by hot key, and is preferred even by most power users rather
than
accessing such commands from menus.
