No icon when alt-tabbing #51

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Be adapting or glossing.
2. Alt tab to another program, such as Word or Toolbox to check something.
3. Alt tab to go back to Adapt It, but the only icon visible is a generic
program icon, not the nice Adapt It icon.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Alt tabbing shows generic program icon. Would like to see Adapt It icon.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
AI Wx 4.1.4 Unicode. Windows XP SP3

Please provide any additional information below.
This is not a bug report, but a request for an ease-of-use feature.

Thanks for this great program,
   Jim

Thanks for the comment Jim. I don't use ALT+TAB very often so I hadn't noticed.
I'm
not real sure why using ALT-TAB doesn't display an icon. I'll check into it
before
the next update. The Adapt It executable should have both a 16x16 and a 32x32
pixel
icon embedded within the executable. Perhaps the icon used for Alt+tab needs a
different size or needs the icon associated with the frame in addition to the
16x16
icon used in Windows explorer.

Adapt It's main window frame needed to have a 32x32 pixel icon explicitly added
in
order to display it in an ALT+TAB operation. The fix will be in the next update.
