Three Ideas to Enhance the Task Timer #659

Describe your idea (be detailed!)
Do you have multiple requests? Make individual reports for each.

I really like this task timer. It is really a good piece of software and use it
for my work daily. The primary uses are to benchmark certain tasks that I
routinely perform and also to see a graphical representation of how much time I
left on my shift. I sort of use it to challenge myself and be able to report to
management on my activities.

Idea #1 It would be nice to stop the animation of progress bar for items that
have been stopped. It drives me crazy to see all all that animation going for
stopped tasks. I like to keep the tasks saved so that I can use them as a
gauage for other similar work that I do.

Idea #2 It would be nice to have a place to put in a start time and then have
the application adjust the time remaining based on the current time. For
example, if I work a 8 hour day, I can not get into my computer for 30 minutes
to start the timer. I have to subtract that amount of time from my 8 hour work
day to set the goal.

Idea #3 Is there a way to archive tasks to be used later by being able to put
them into a saved location. It would be also good to add folders to categorize
the saved tasks. I can see these to be used for timesheet or activity reporting
to my line manager.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions. matt@brewer.com
