Multiple Environments

• Three separate environments are created namely production, testing, development

  Commands to Start Server

• Commands to start the server in the different environments are given below

  Environments	Command
  Development	npm run dev
  Testing	npm test
  Production	npm start

• Earlier nodemon/node index.js/npx nodemonwas used to start server

• From now, npm run dev must be used

  Different Databases

• Three different databases must be created as per sample env file

Pre-commit hook

• pre-commit hook has been added
• Before git commit it will run the tests
• If tests are successful, then it commits
• Else commit fails
