Deciding and Designing the Map and the in game objects. #2

Yes this is the first step. Since characters are decided and they look pretty good , we have to decide whether we need a realistic map/terrain or a minimalistic one and also what kind of lighting we will need.

No need for something with lot of objects cause it will just make visibility an issue. Instead choose mostly barren land, with good mist,sky effects etc.

Pull out some examples. Like post pictures of games that meet your requirement. Also we'll need to know what kind of lighting is required, so references are good.
