no object list on step 2 of wizard #33

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. log in
2. start Table query Wizard, click next after step 1
3. Step 2 window is blank (no object list is pulled)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
(see 3 above)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?  With
what Salesforce.com edition?
latest version. Win 7/Excel 2007
Entreprise edition

Please provide any additional information below.

a workaround is simple: type in the name of the object and select 'describe 
sforce object' to get a full list of fields.
the rest of the app works normally.
