VTMGo & GoPlay no longer working on Kodi #332

Describe the bug Browsing the catalogue & playing streams no longer possible on VTMGo and GoPlay. Still working fro VRTNu.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to addon
  2. Browse for a programme

Expected behavior I expected to see a list of programmes and be able to play them.

Have been following this issue for a couple of weeks now. For what it's worth, neither addon is still working for me either.

I looked at the log and it seems like you didnt update the goplay kodi addon to the latest version as that TypeError: a float is required bug has already been fixed on the latest version so update to the latest version and everything should be working again for vtm it says no moov in stream! a bit unclear why that happend as i tested all those live channels here and they all work could be because the url is missing a / not sure

In the meantime, I uninstalled all IPTV related addons, including IPTV Manager and PVR IPTV Simple Client. All streams, live and delayed, are now working again. Occasionally I still experience crashes but I am unsure if these are related to the different station-specific addons (VRT, VTM...) or to the IPTV Manager/Client addons.

If an add-on is updated, it will only be using the new add-on when you (briefly) switch to another add-on.

In this case you may experience the old behavior (because your old add-on version is active in memory), but Kodi may report you are running the new version. Kodi will not restart the add-on when you exit the add-on, it will only restart the add-on when another add-on is loaded into memory.

That is why you need to start another add-on to be sure you are running the next version. Of course restarting Kodi will always work to ensure you are running the versions Kodi has updated.
