Missing VOD support #27

It would be nice if this add-on has support for VOD content. And maybe even recorded content.

@dagwieers Can you watch recorded content in the Yelo app? I thought it was only possible to stream it to your decoder from there.

For some recorded content, yes.

Policy of VOD for recordings is determined based on channelPolicies.passthroughViewingOnOTT (it seems): https://api.yeloplay.be/api/v1/epg/channel/list?platform=Web&postalCode=2000&postalCode=2000

For some online VOD, yes. I belief in my case this comes from the 36h content rewatch service included in my subscription. VOD policy seems to come from user policies

The EPG data e.g. from https://pubba.yelo.prd.telenet-ops.be/v1/events/schedule-day/outformat/json/lng/nl/channel/555/day/2020-10-28/platform/web/ contains field flagreplayott which seems to differ between episodes that I can rewatch and those that I can't.

With Telenet TV to be the successor, any effort on this in the Yelo add-on may be better spent on a Telenet TV add-on.

But this mostly depends on the availability of the contributors :-/ Anyone working on this may find themselves unable to contribute more when their Telenet decoder is replaced by a newer model.

Is it known/announced that current Yelo Play users will be able to use Telenet TV? When?

You need to have a new digicorder. Users are being migrated.

I have no insight in when they expect to have this finished, or how far this transition already is. Usually replacing the digicorder is a multi-year effort and often it is driven by defect digicorders, nudging by Telenet Support and new functionality only being available on the newer devices (so when your contract changes this may be implied). And of course the supply of these new devices.

If anyone could supply me an account for Telenet TV I could take a look at it and keep things separate meaning a new project for a Telenet TV add on.
