2.1.7 crashes while opening cbr or cbz

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. try to open cbr or cbz file 

What is the expected output?
opening comic book file

What do you see instead?
"accessing page size" popup until it reaches the end (i.e. 200/200 pages), then 
application crashes back to desktop

What version of the product are you using?
2.1.7, until update (with 2.1.6) everything was fine

On what operating system?
2.2.0

What device are you using?
Barnes and Noble Nook HD+

Please provide any additional information below.
This is a new issue, it cam with the last update to 2.1.7.
Clearing data, cache did not help solving the issue.

Can confirm, fails on CBRs on GT-P5113 running 4.1.1.
