9 years ago I used selection & edit tools on many English textbooks (PDF files) & I reach to coniclusion that the current selection & edit tools are bad & developer need to make radical change for them:
1) selection is bad (regarding English not Arabic, Arabic is much worser): it
tend to select whole word not character by character & as a result underline or
highlight appear interapted (disconnected).
2) Thinest line is thik in fact.
3) "use pressure" option practically useless because just if you reopen
document after finishing edition, then re-activating edit tools, then click on
"Drawing" this will lead to change what you priviously drawing "with pressure"
to "without pressure"
4) when activating edit tools, then select "highlight" coursers will appear on
screen making selection by themselves & you need to modify it .......
5) What you edit are just guesty: when you uninistall the application, then ALL
your work will be lost !!
6) No "annotations list" which make possible for user to make all it's
highlighting & underline annotation appear to him or here as a list by which
can jump into page of annotations that he like to see.

At this moment the best selection & edit tools exist in ezPDF Reader. I wish that the developers of EBookDroid make something better than ezPDF Reader.
