"Request failed" after deleting folder.

After successful deleting a folder, when i go back to "Files" menu the deleted 
folder is still there. Is there a way to refresh folder structure in the user 
environment without refreshing the page?

And another issue, the actual folder is still remained in my server folder 
after deletion. I must delete it manually using my ftp account in order to 
completely delete the folder.

Steps to reproduce
 1. Go to Configuration
 2. Create a new folder
 3. Give the appropriate permissions
 4. Go to files - Cannot see the folder, must refresh page
 5. Refresh page, everything ok
 6. Go to Configuration
 7. Delete folder
 8. Go to Files
 9. ERROR " Request failed"
 10. Refresh page - Everything OK
 11. Folders still exists in my server actual folder structure, i was waiting to be deleted

 I am using 2.6.3 version.

I'll check out that folder update. But for the error, could you get the PHP 
error log?

I have attached the php error log file, from my server.

I have replaced my IP and domain name with XXX and YYY for security reasons.

I've now added session folder update so changes become active immediately. 
Error log did not tell exactly why the error happened, but I can assume it 
tried to access the folder that was just removed. With the fix now, this should 
not happen anymore.
