Redesign of website. Need to brainstorm new designs to make it look more fresh. Usually each tab points to certain scroll position on a central page, rather then point to another page. Could also add a loading screen ... twisting icon ?? :')

The website will be our main point of contact so making it super easy to use and 'information forward' is really important imo. Having simple, concise pages will go a long way to achieving this. I agree with your page categories and suggest the following common titles:

• what, who, why and how - About or About Us
• services, initiatives and/or projects? - Our Initiatives or Our Projects (perhaps eventually both)
• team description, linkedin? - The Team
• sponsorship partners - Our Sponsors
• I'll also suggest an events page (im envisioning something like a calendar feed here ) - Events

I am heavily against a loading icon - I don't think (let me know if I'm wrong?) we have anything large to load, so we should jump right into displaying information. Getting a loading icon upon hitting a website is a massive red flag.

Now, for some more opinionated things about those examples 😛

• https://bitfwd.xyz - wont load
• https://blockchain.berkeley.edu/ - I like it except the main logo is cutoff on my screen (poor viewport awareness). also this design is really common (possibly bad possibly good thing)
• http://www.oxfordblockchain.net/ - waaaayy too busy. everything spinning (why?) and took ages to load.

Note: I agree in adding the allocated material, but we still need to concrete sponsors and events prior to adding those to the website. I will create a branch and start editing the current website with ideas I have for 'who are we' - member info and what not.

Yeh of course need to secure sponsors before adding to website just, scoping ideas.

No need for loading icon then.

I can start some design sketches on either sketch pad or illustrator and upload them up to aid the code in the near future.

ahhh btw we also need to add a resources section for different skill bases. we get asked that alot so that would be a worthwhile decision.

I'll aim to write up a template tomorrow, and hopefully provide some website examples that I think are pretty cool :)

I opened up a pull-request to get stuff going to do with the website development. This is within the dev branch of the website repo.

I've made some progress on the revamp, but need opinions and others to contribute whenever possible, whether it be with the text and content editing, or website layout and graphic design. @paulpounendis @JJ11teen @rmugalimov

(PS: I know Ruslan wasn't asigned to this issue, but he has some resources to be added to the resources tab which would be REALLY useful 👍 )
