Add config option #7

I added the ability to merge these. I'm not a great coder, but I copied these from other add-ons and it seems to work fine. You may need to clean it up a bit

Awesome thanks! I JUST realized I made a spelling mistake on "whether" in the config.md file and updated that. Otherwise everything seems to be working fine.
