Network access #17

Assalaamu alaikum brother and thanks for making this beautiful app.

I wanted to ask: is network access really necessary?

Can it be redesigned to have whatever it needs from the internet be included with the updates?

Wa alaykumu salam Brother,

The Network access is necessary for the Quran Player section Only, There is more than 80 Reciter on the Quran section There is no way to include all this on the app.

However There is an outdated branch named lite witch made for this propose, I stop working on it recently But I will give it a shot on the future. for now the branch without a player.

However I don't think this is the case for the Flathub releases.

Thanks for replying. OK so if I disable network access in Flatseal (like I do for almost all apps not just this one) the salaah times functionality will not be affected at all, right?

No at all, the app calculate the prayer times inside your machine, not using a random external API from the internet. so it not be affected at all
